This is a well researched and thoughtful article that I really appreciate. It illustrates how we must be extremely careful to declare something as ‘settled science.’ Science is supposed to be about following the data, asking questions and continued examination–not becoming partisan and squelching alternative ideas, research and publication. I expect we will begin to see more rapid progress on Alzheimers and strongly suspect the neuro-immune/inflammatory pathways will yield significant breakthroughs.
